With the release of Warlords of Draenor and Heroes of the Storm just around the corner this years BlizzCon was already set to be an explosive one, and that was before Blizzard announced that the legendary Metallica would be making an appearance. On November 7th the two-day event will see the StarCraft, World of Warcraft & Diablo communities come together to celebrate all things Blizzard and a sold-out convention crowd better be prepared to up the volume as Metallica will be performing live at the event.

Tickets to this years BlizzCon have long been sold out but fans can still get involved at home with the BlizzCon Virtual Ticket (priced at $39.99). The virtual ticket offers extensive online coverage of both days of BlizzCon 2014 including community contests on the Friday evening followed by Metallica’s performance on the Saturday night.
DIRECTV customers in the United States can also watch the event from home via the BlizzCon 2014 Pay Per View event, which includes all the benefits of the BlizzCon Virtual Ticket for the same price tag of $39.99.
