As the alpha testing of EverQuest Next: Landmark draws near Sony Online Entertainment have published an early set of system specs to give users time to upgrade their machines before the events begin. EverQuest Next is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated MMO titles of our time and thousands of users have gained access to alpha via the purchasing of a variety of different Founder’s Packages, but does your rig have what it takes?

- OS ? Windows 7 64 bit
- Processor ? Intel i5 Dual Core or higher / AMD Phenom X3 or higher
- Memory ? 4GB RAM
- Hard Drive ? 20GB Free
- Video Memory ? 1,024 MB RAM
- Video Card ? nVidia GeForce GTX 275 series or higher / AMD HD 4890 or higher
- Sound Card ? DirectX compatible
- Internet ? Broadband (10Mbit/sec or higher)

Please note that these are very early system specs and are likely to be adjusted throughout the alpha experience. The developers have stated that the 64-bit operating system may not be a requirement at launch but will be required throughout alpha until the game has been optimized. They have also promised all Founder’s supporters a full refund if their computer is unable to run the game.
