Hi-Rez Studios today announced the contents of the latest patch for the increasingly popular SMITE as they kick-off the SMITE Season 2 Pro League following last years massively successful SMITE World Championships. The update released earlier today includes an array of new content, led by the hugely anticipated update to the Conquest map. The all-new map has undergone a complete graphical overhaul alongside better player navigation, changes to the Jungle layout and spawn mechanics, new creature interactions and more.
An exciting selection of new items have also been introduced to compliment the new changes arriving with Season 2, giving players the opportunity to take full advantage of the changes to jungling, towers, laning, Titans and Fire Giant.
The developers released a brand new trailer highlighting the changes with SMITE Season 2 as well as an in-depth look at the changes to the Conquest map.
Small changes have also been made to the competitive scene as teams fight it out for their right to participate in some of the biggest events in eSports.
