Well Mass Effect 3 ending skeptics, looks like you guys got what you were looking for. BioWare has announced its Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut which is a free download for PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 that addresses the controversial ending to the game. It provides “additional cinematic sequences and epilogue scenes” to the ending, and launches this summer.
The Mass Effect 3 ending controversy has been quite the hot topic as fans argue over who is right (everyone is right), but a group of fans have hit BioWare with a great metaphor for the ending. A group of fans have sent BioWare 400 cupcakes that are colored red, blue, and green to symbolize the three colors of the endings.
Starting this Thursday, March 15th at 1:01 a.m. EDT until 3:00 a.m. EDT on Monday, March 19th, BioWare will let people play The Old Republic for free.
