AirMech is now available on Steam! Beta keys have been distributed to all Alpha testers, and new players can participate in the Steam beta by purchasing a special bundle. Over 250,000 unique players have signed up to play AirMech worldwide, and this week a number of new servers have been brought online across to globe to improve service for everyone.
The long-awaited release of Update 3.0, the most extensive expansion since AION?s release, is imminent. On August 15th, players will be able to use two brand new areas and countless new features such as mounts and the housing system. Sarpan and Tiamaranta Two new areas ? Sarpan and Tiamaranta ? offer PvE as well as PvP fans countless exciting challenges. Single and multiplayer instances, fortress battles, colossal boss monsters, numerous new items and a level cap increased to level 60 will keep drawing you back into the wonderful world of Atreia.
The Diablo 3 community site has acquired a new feature for the game that has been taken from World of Warcraft. Players are now able to get a character profile in order to check stats, track your progress, and show off your character to your friends. Battle.net also mentioned that as the game evolves they will be adding more functionality to the character profiles but as of right now you are able to get an entire breakdown of gear, stats, and skills, check how far you have progressed within your game or you can check how many monsters you have slayed.

Joymax, leading online game developer and publisher widely known for Silkroad Online and Digimon Masters, today announced the hotly anticipated date for the open beta of Knight Age. Players will be able to once again mount up and enter into a daring combat in this fantasy MMORPG beginning August 28th. Wargaming.net has just announced to the world that their free-to-play naval action MMO World of Battleships will now be known as World of Warships to, and I quote, “more accurately reflect the framework of our Wargaming universe.”
This just in, the official website for the zombie apocalypse MMO, The War Z, is now live! The team behind the game also announced that over 100,000 players have signed up for beta testing in just 24 hours. The War Z is expected to head into beta testing very soon and is likely to be released in late 2012.
EA announced a couple days ago that the Sci-Fi MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic, SWTOR , will be joining the Free to Play games market this coming November. From the press release it appears that EA plans to offer two different options for players, the base ?Free? version and then a Subscription option.
