Rovio has plans for Angry Birds animated series and movie

Rovio continues to be expanding their presence into the world of entertainment. The company has just confirmed plans for an upcoming Angry Birds animated series. Nick Dorra, the head of animation for Rovio, has mentioned also that an Angry Birds movie will not be released for a couple of years, but there had been plans made to create it back in the summer of 2011.

Notch presents Mars Effect

Notch unveils Mojang?s faux next game, Mars Effect, in time for April Fools day, complete with website and great humor. In amongst the news for the title, Notch describes the discussion on coming up with the game?s new title, stating ?we finally decided not to learn from previous experiences and pick a name that’s already kind of in use by a huge existing franchise.?

Halo 4 concept art

In the latest Halo Bulletin Update 343 Industries has released never before seen concept art and details for one of its upcoming game Halo 4?s multiplayer maps ?Warhouse??working title. The map takes place on a UNSC mining ship floating out in a scenic vista of space; hopefully catching inexperienced players off guard at the sheer beauty of it all making for easy kills.

Lone Survivor released

SuperFlat Games just released their newest game Lone Survivor, a post-apocalyptic side-scroller. Following the trend of psychological thrillers the main character ? wearing a surgical mask to protect him from the outbreak ? must fight or sneak his way out of the city from enemies that may or may not even be real.
