Dark Orbit Reloaded

Dark Orbit Reloaded

DarkOrbit Reloaded is an epic space action MMO that boasts a refined new look, an immersive sci-fi narrative and important reworks. The game will build upon the success of its predecessor to make it easier for newcomers to get into the epic space battles that the game is known for.

DarkOrbit Reloaded will feature over 200 new missions with a sci-fi storyline, new maps and characters that weren’t found in the original, as well as an update in the gameplay that makes it bigger and better than the last. An updated UI is planned as well as high-resolution graphics to make this game into one of the best sci-fi space games around.

The game was just announced and released by Bigpoint on January 3rd, 2014.

Hey guys, I’m Mark
McDonald and you’re watching the Daily XP for today, Friday January 31st, exclusively from mmoatk.com. We’ve
got some good stuff for you today as we’ll talk about some fixes coming to
DayZ, another nod towards a State of Decay MMO annnnd… EverQuest Next Landmark
Alpha lands today and we’ve got some hands on experience to tell you all about.
Let’s get this started.

Transcript:
First up, it’s not
huge news, but a new update has been released to DayZ’s experimental servers,
introducing a few technical changes and some changes to popular weapons and
common animations. More specifically, a number of building mechanics have been
addressed, new spawns have been placed and slight tweaks to loot regularities
have been made. For those unfamiliar with the process, Bohemia Interactive
implements new patches on select experimental servers before giving it a wider
release, so standard players can expect to see the changes soon.

At this point a State
of Decay MMO is one of those things where the only thing not confirming its
existence is an actual announcement from Microsoft. The rumor mill’s been a
buzz today after Patrick Wyatt, co-founder of ArenaNet and En Masse
Entertainment joined the staff of Undead Labs and released a statement saying,
I can’t talk anything about what I’m working
on here at Undead Labs … yet. … But … I specialize in developing really big
multiplayer games. So I guess maybe I’ll be working on something like that, at
least as soon as I get one of the cool lab coats everyone around here has.
” So there you go, cryptic and yet not really
so. Make sure to keep an eye out for any announcements. We’ll let you guys know
as soon as we hear more.

And finally, the big
news of the day comes courtesy of SOE with the announcement that EverQuest Next
Landmark’s Alpha is finally and officially live! Purchasers of either of the
top two tiers of the EQNL founder’s packs can get their start in the sandbox
world and begin giving feedback that is crucial to the future of the game. We
had a chance to try out the game yesterday and I wont go into it in-depth here, but I’m cautiously
optimistic for everything that the game has to offer. We were told that the
game is currently about 60% complete, the tools for creation need some refining
and there is a steep learning curve attached to it, but the potential for what
can be created is absolutely off the charts. Those who have come to love Minecraft
and are looking for sort of the next step in terms of creation and complexity
should definitely look into this. Kirk and I each tell about our experiences
with the alpha which you can find in a separate video, linked over my face and
below, so be sure to check that out if you want to know more!

And that’s everything
for today guys, thank you so much for watching. If you liked what you saw, make

MMORPG news, coming at you daily. If you’d like to read more about Everquest
Next Landmark or anything that I covered here make sure to stop by our website,

EVE Online is known for its epic battles, and as Bethany
talked about yesterday, the battle of B-R5RB that started on Monday has become
the largest in the games history.  I’m
not going to pretend I know a whole lot about EVE Online, but the dev diary
which explained just how much devastation went on leaves me in awe.  So in celebration, if that’s the right word,
in celebration of the battle, EVE Online’s developers are constructing a
monument in the area, constructed from wrecked models of the brand new Titan
ship, which was introduced with Rubicon’s 1.1 release, which coincidentally occurred
right after the battle.

The next update in Stronghold Kingdoms, the browser based
MMORTS game from Firefly will set the stage for 32 medieval countries to wage
war on each other.  The free update will
introduce the largest game world yet, with more player villages, countries and more
and will be introduced on February 13th.
Stronghold Kingdoms is still one of the ten most popular free to play
games on Steam, as it approaches its second birthday.  Nearly three million registered players from
100 different countries play the game.

Lastly, Lost Saga, the online multiplayer brawler from I.O.
Entertainment and Nexon Europe has officially launched their new website.  This comes just ahead of the games closed
beta test, which will begin at the end of February.  The website features a host of details on the
upcoming brawler, and users are encouraged to visit and weigh in on exactly
what they’d like to see from the game.
Check it out at lostsaga.nexoneu.com.

You guys remember
Poseidon from SMITE? I mean we all know the god Poseidon had a lot of awkward
daddy issues being consumed by the guy and all that, but, now he has resorted
to sporting tiny man shorts and releasing inflatable ducks. You heard me right.
He also is beating other gods with his purple noodle. If this sounds appealing
to you, get this limited edition skin quickly because he is only available
until the SMITE release date on March 25th. He cost 600 gems and $5
is contributed to the SMITE launch tournament.

Collectors! How
excited are we when there is something precious to collect to set us just that
much further above the muck muck while in game? (and maybe in real life) Well,
the elder scrolls online Imperial Edition has been announced. This is a
special collector’s edition that comes in both physical and digital form. The
physical edition will get you a statue, a snazzy guide, a map of Tamriel, a
mount, a pet, the ability to play the imperial race, and Rings of Mara content.
The digital edition gives you all this, but, you guessed it, the tangible stuff
you can really get your hands on.

Now, this is what we
have been waiting for: human angst and misfortune. Yes, I’m referring to the
recent incident on “Eve Online” where $200,000 of real world cash was lost when
a coalition missed a payment on a station they were supposed to be protecting.
This resulted in thousands of players coming together in cold blood to take
part in the biggest battle this decade-old game has ever seen. 8 of the largest
ships in the game were destroyed. This game sounds insane and I want to play
it.

Alright guys, that’s
it. If you like this video and subscribe to MMO ATK we are all going to do a
bunch of high-fives here and some beefy early 90’s guitar riffs will play and
it will really make our day. Check out our website too at MMO ATK.com. Send us stories, send us stuff.
Don’t send us hair or bacon jerky because one of those has already been sent
here. Later.

Divergence Online

Divergence online (DO) is a third person shooter and Sci-Fi MMORPG that is currently under development. The game recently launched a successful crowd-funding campaign lead by head developer Ethan Casner and Stainglass Llama Studios to receive funding for continued production. Ethan recently announced that DO will be a box title, meaning there will be a purchase price and a potential subscription model instead of a micro-transaction business model.

Divergence will feature a “hardcore” sandbox environment where player freedom is the main priority. The PvP system will be true to hardcore in that there will be open PvP at all times, anywhere in the world without exception, as well as potential for permanent death. The sandbox feature will allow for terrain modification such as raising, lowering and leveling, planting and farming, and gathering of natural resources or raw materials. There are four “Genomes” to chose from–humans, Veli, Lokri, and AI– with each respective genome having its own subdivisions of breeds.
