The lead writer of Assassin?s Creed III, Matt Turner, has claimed that the new Assassin?s Creed game, Assassin?s Creed III, will feature more gameplay as Desmond Miles compared to the previous games in the series. Alexandre Amacio, Assassin?s Creed?s creative lead, said that AC II would be the end of Desmond?s story. They must?ve changed their mind.

BioWare announces Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut

Well Mass Effect 3 ending skeptics, looks like you guys got what you were looking for. BioWare has announced its Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut which is a free download for PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 that addresses the controversial ending to the game. It provides “additional cinematic sequences and epilogue scenes” to the ending, and launches this summer.

Aliens: Colonial Marines writer discusses ?change the ending? petitions

Aliens: Colonial Marines lead writer, Mikey Newman, believes that players should not be entitled to petition artists to change their works. While as Newman didn?t outright mention Mass Effect 3 over its ending, it was clear on what he was getting at. The Gearbox writer isn?t alone in his opinion either, BioWare-Mythic senior creative director, Paul Barnett also said something similar.

There has been a major game update for the players of Battlefield 3. PC Battlefield players were able to experience the renting of Battlefield 3 servers, now console players are able to have that same privilege. A massive PS3 game update for Battlefield 3 rolled out last week on March 27th and the recent update has just been released onto the Xbox 360 today.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 + Assassin’s Creed Revelations = lolwut?

Remember when we told you about the Mass Effect themed Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC? Well, Square isn’t done yet, giving Serah and Noel more outfits to try on that cross universes in a way they haven’t since Kingdom Hearts. According to Famitsu, a Japanese gaming magazine, the RPG duo can now dress in clothes based on Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Revelations.

Notch announces new game, 0x10c

Today Mojang’s Notch announced a new space-themed game, titled 0x10c, confirmed to be in the very early development stages. The space game, based in the year 281,474,976,712,44 AD, sets players up in a world on the verge of extinction, where remote galaxies and stars have long gone and black holes own the universe.
