British game retailer Game closes 277 stores

It?s no secret that the British video game retailer Game has been under the weather lately. Unfortunately for gamers in the UK, the struggling company closed forty percent of its stores amounting to 277 outlets. 2,104 employees have also been laid off, only 14 of which worked at the Basingstoke Game corporate office.

CCP launches investigation after accusation was made against Eve Online FanFest panel for disrespecting a suicidal player

An Eve Online player wrote to CCP and Eurogamer today criticizing the Thursday?s Alliance Panel presentation. The presenter of the Panel presentation wanted to ?encourage? the other players of Eve Online to harass the player in hopes of the player being obliged to act on these thoughts. CCP has given a statement on how they reacted.
