Clash of the Dragons is a free to play browser-based trading card game.  The game borrows elements from a traditional RPG and adds a new spin as a fantasy TGC.

Upon entering the game, you will be prompted to create your avatar; then you are able to freely travel across the map and spend a certain amount of energy to fight against different monsters. Winning a battle grants you various loot, experience and other rewards.

Upon entering into a battle for the first time, you will need to familiarize yourself with combat interface and dialogue boxes with different options. In Clash of the Dragons, instead of having the popularized hit points system, it is actually the amount of cards you hold in your deck determines your health.  When damage is dealt by another player or NPC, you have to discard as many cards as the damage being taken from the top of your deck. The battle ends when you are unable to draw any additiolnal cards.  There are two number displayed on each card, one determines the amount of damage the card will deal, while the other is the defense point, which will be subtracted from the amount of damage done by your opponent.

The game is relatively easy to pick up and play compared with other trading card games.  There are four class available and each one has their own primarily attribute, which determines what kind of attack will be optimal.

Battles become slightly more complicated and unpredictable at higher levels and with the introduction of buff and healing cards. Buffs can give you some sorts of status enhancement such as granting chance of inflicting critical attack, or splitting half of the damage taken. And the healing cards enable you to revive cars that have been discarded. The number of cards you can pull out from your depletion pile equals to the power of the healing card.

As a typical trading card game, Clash of the Dragons allows players to customize the deck; keeping too many melee and ranged attack cards in deck is meaningless when you play as a spellcaster. You can either purchase card packs coming with assortment of 5 random cards with coins or premium currency, or craft a specific one by using cards that appear to be useless in your deck, however, it seems that acquiring enough cards and crafting ingredients take a long time.

Besides the deck customization, there are a lot of things to do while you are outside battles. Skill points can be spent in a wide range of optional abilities to benefit players ? from increasing the maximum deck size to increasing the number of NPC?s which can be placed in one deck. Moreover, once you have accumulated enough points, you can unlock your second class, which giving you the possibility to toggle between those classes when you face-off against enemies of different powers.

Clash of the Dragons is a different and unique take on the classic trading card game.  If you are willing to try out a TGC, give this one a try.  Traditional RPG players will find elements they adore with a completely new spin.

Your character is the main hero of the story. While you start the game in a small village by the lake, your quest will eventually take you to many other towns and cities and explore many different dungeons and wilderness areas. The Dream World consists several villages, towns, cities, and their surrounding areas. Each area provides it’s own sets of offerings for adventurers.

There are three types of weapon skills in Dream World. Characters learn these skills through training. You might unlock skills if your meet the intelligence attribute requirement. You can also unlock new professions as well by raising weapon skills.

Quests are an important part of the game. You must complete main quests in order to move to new areas and beat the game. There are optional side-quests that will offer good rewards if you choose to take them. And there are chance quests found in dungeons that will help you progress through the levels. Click on the “quest” menu to see your quest progress at any time.

There over a dozen badges you can earn in the game. A list is available in the “badge” tab of the “quest” menu. They are symbols of your accomplishment. Each badge you unlock will grant you additional max energy you can store.

After you completed the game’s main quests, there are many playable areas (game expansions) waiting for you to challenge.

Using a simulation similar to the mechanics of a physical card game, players create their own deck of characters and spells to play against others in a duel to the death. Although comparable to other TCG’s like Carte, this game features Facebook integration which allows users to connect with their Facebook friends or make new ones through the game. There is a wide selection of cards to collect and trade. Hundreds of different spell and weapon combinations make for thousands of unique playing styles and strategies.  Many cards are unique to certain classes and many characters providing bonus stats to different cards. Each signature hero card displays the character?s race, class, and guild. The game also features six multi-classes combining the Priest, Mage, Warrior, and Marauder class that are available as players advance.

What is cool about MoW (what’s up with all these MMORPG game abbreviations?) is that equipment plays a vital role in the success of the game in conjunction with your chosen hero. All equipment is divided by 10 levels and there are 4 levels of quality distinguished by different colors. The colors are: white, green, blue, and purple, from the lowest quality to the highest. Purple equipment is the best quality and has the lowest drop rate. Blue and purple equipment both have an attribute limit; your hero can only equip them if meet the requirements.

Heroes play a large roll in Ministry of War. The dynamic and balance of the game as it is right now makes them exceedingly over powered if built right, and horribly useless if built wrong. This crucial element will come down to players just trying things with their heroes to see what works. In our case, we tried about three different heroes with varying attributes before we created one that was an absolute powerhouse!

Blacklight: Retribution is the latest from Perfect World Entertainment.  This first person shooter mmo follows closely in gameplay formula with most of today?s blockbuster FPS titles such as Call of Duty and Battlefield series.

Building upon Zombie Studios? predecessor, Tango Down, Blacklight Retribution provides FPS enthusiasts with a massive arsenal of weaponry and gear ranging from bleeding edge side arms to massive mechanized Hardsuits.

Blacklight: Retribution offers 5 game modes as of right now, Domination, Team King of the Hill, Team Death Match, Free-For-All Death Match, and Capture the Flag. The maps are relatively small, allowing players to quickly spawn and get in on the action and they aren?t littered with bushes and tall grass that players can camp behind.

The game also offers players variety of choices on customizing their character?s equipment and weapons, allow player to change the looks and functionality of their futuristic combat suits and modify variety of weapons with attachments, different barrels, stocks, ammo and more. Different equipment offers different stats that compliment different styles of play, for example some gear will provide more protection at the cost of slower movement speed and vice versa, while weapon attachments and modification can improve weapon spread, damage or zoom. As players earn points in game by killing enemy players and completing objectives, more options in item customizations are made available to their characters along with different skills to choose from.

Overall the combat is satisfying, the graphics look top-notch,  the classes and the weapons are awesome and the maps are fun.  If you are in to Call of Duty and Battlefield then this game is for you!  Best part of all ..  It’s free!
