Bethesda and Zenimax Online Studios today announced the
voice cast for their upcoming blockbuster The Elder Scrolls Online.  The franchise has long been known for its
high-quality voice acting, with previous stars including Patrick Stewart and
Lynda Carter, but the latest addition to the world of Tamriel boasts one of the
biggest casts to date.  The following
actors and actresses have been confirmed: Academy Award nominee John Cleese,
Golden Globe winner Bill Nighy, Kate Beckinsale, Alfred Molina, Golden Globe nominee’s Michael Gambon and Malcom McDowell, and Linda Carter, best known for
her role as Wonder Woman.  The developers
have a lengthy video highlighting the cast and their roles in the game, you can
find that on our website.

Sony Online Entertainment today released the latest developer
roadmap for their award-winning MMOFPS PlanetSide 2.  The roadmap highlights the new content that
is coming to the game throughout 2014.
While the roadmap does not include specific dates for the updates, some
of the features we can hope to expect include Outfit Recruiting, to make
finding new recruits for your outfit more streamlined, a new continent Hossin,
which we got a sneak peak of at SOE Live a few months back, Outfit Base
Capture, which will identify if your outfit was a top contributor to capturing
a base, and more!  PlanetSide 2 has long
been known for being more enjoyable by playing with friends and outfits, so a
few of these updates definitely will play up to that.

More from SOE with the brand new phase coming live for
Dragon’s Prophet.  This new update offers
players the opportunity to embark on treasure hunts, which promise some of the
most powerful rewards seen in any event so far.
The main prize from competing in the gauntlet of challenges is the
coveted Laedis Hero Armor.  In order to
obtain the armor you will have to defeat each of the 8 new world bosses. But
hey, it should be well worth your while.

And lastly I wanted to quickly touch on the latest update
for the open world winter sports MMO SNOW.
Today they released their M1 Game update which includes a slew of new
content and bug fixes.  The most
important being that multiplayer is now available for all users, so be sure to
grab some friends to hit the slopes.
Additionally the main menu was updated with new functionality, the store
was redesigned with both new items and visual updates.  You can now customize your character while
in-game, new sessions markers were implemented, a new in-air rotation system
was added, the half-pipe gameplay was improved.
Just a ton of shit going on now with SNOW, so go check it out on Steam!

League of Legends Bot Lane Synergy – Twitch and Leona

Bottom Lane Synergies between your Support and AD Carry can help get your team off to a great start.  This week on League of Legends Bot lane Synergies we take a look at Twitch and Leona.

Hello summoners and welcome to mmo attacks bot lane synergies. We are your hosts TJ and Ashley.
In todays episode we will be featuring the duo Leona and Twitch. Leona
is a Hard CC tank support whose ability to engage and lock down a target
surpasses all other supports. The lady of the sun gains bonus armor and
magic resist with her W shield of day break. This allows her to dive
head first into a fight while taking tons of reduced damage.
Twitch is the smelly rat from the lands of Zaun
whose stealthy ways can quickly asasinate an isolated target. With
Oracles being removed from the game, twitch is able to manuever in
fights without being seen, and although he may have no escape, his
invisibility will do him just fine.
Twitch and Leona together are a very aoe
heavy composition who can shred a teams hp to none. With twitches bonus
movment speed and leonas ability to dive, twitch can easily follow up
while leona wrecks havoc on the enemy team.
Lets go ahead and take a look at a few examples of this dynamic duo bringing in a smelly sunshine down on their enemies.

Transcript:
The Hearthstone US Open Beta begins today as one of the most
highly sought after closed beta events in history comes to an end.  How can I make this claim?  Well, the over $134,000 made from selling
Hearthstone closed beta keys on eBay helps.
So yes, beginning today, anyone in the US can sign up for and play highly
anticipated trading card game from Blizzard.
A warning has been issued because of the anticipated influx of new players.  It is also helpful to note that there will be
no more wipes, so players are free to amass as many new cards as possibly,
without fear of losing them.  Have fun!

The latest champion to join Infinite Crisis is coming, and
it’s none other than Superman.  Now, I can’t’
be the only one surprised that Superman wasn’t in the original starting
line-up, but I guess they had to make you anticipate something.  In Infinite Crisis Superman will excel at
initiating and finishing team fights.
His skills include him spitting ice into your eyes to slow you down, and
shooting lasers from your eyes to deal damage and knock the enemy back.  These are two skills that I had no idea
Superman had, but of course, he is Superman so, anything is possible.

The next big patch for Age of Wushu is due out next month
and Snail Games has released a small preview on their site to get players
excited about the new update.  So what
should we expect?  Well, the new Dragon
and Tiger Tournament will feature a series of one-on-one duels, with the
winners receive manuals, skills and pills.
There’s also the fourth internal skill unlock, which should give you
more edge in battle, and additional school lessons.  I’m sure there’s more, but the teaser only
gave us so much!

Bless

Bless

Bless is a medieval fantasy MMORPG that kicked up a storm at this year’s G-Star trade show with its hyper-realistic graphics and impressive use of the Unreal Engine 3. Bless moves seamlessly through its gorgeous environment thanks to the action-based combat system and unique story-line developed around a decade-long war between rival factions. There are 10 races to chose from and each one allows the play to live a different story.

Lead by Neowiz Games, more than 150 game developers and designers are painstakingly pushing Bless beyond the boundaries of what an MMORPG can be. Immerse yourself in this vast world and experience the lore of the land. Bless’ story-line is sure to grip at every player in its own unique way.

Dungeonland

Dungeonland

I like to think of Dungeonland as a visual representation of what would happen if you put a sadistic, murderous dungeon master in a room filled with min-maxing munchkins, then had  them to play  D&D together. In a setting that was just one massive theme park. Yeah, that’s pretty much the best description I can give. See, Dungeon-Land is a game which, at its core, is completely about the pursuit of gold (unless you’re playing Dungeon Maestro mode, but we’ll get to that in a second).

In Dungeonland, you’re basically in a massive theme park filled with different…well, dungeons. Since I’m playing the free version of the game, the only dungeons available to me were the Dungeon Maestro Tower and Dungeon Maestro Mode. In the former, players must work together to make their way through several different dungeons, slaughtering every monster they encounter along the way and raiding every chest, barrel, and decorative conversation piece for cash. Classes fill each of the three traditional archetypes of RPGs. That is to say, you can play as a Mage, a Rogue, or a Warrior; each of these classes further have their own unique sub-class. Thus far, my favorite class is the Gunner, a musket-toting variant of the rogue which can make his foes explode.

Dungeon Maestro Mode, meanwhile, pits three players not against the stage, but against a fourth player, who takes the role of the omnipresent Dungeon Maestro. After assembling a deck of cards filled with different spells, monsters, and traps, the Dungeon Maestro’s job is to prevent the heroes from reaching the end of his dungeon, throwing everything in his arsenal at them in the process. While doing this, he can also choose to possess whatever monsters he puts down on the field, as well. Should the heroes manage to reach the end of the level, they’ll go into a pitched battle against whatever boss monster the DM selected from his deck; this monster is controlled by said DM.

The whole experience is pretty frantic and chaotic, but it’s a game that’s definitely better played with friends (not in the least because the AI is so inarguably terribad). Besides, this is definitely the sort of game you’d want to play with other people; there’s something magnificently satisfying about hurling beer at your friends while they do battle with a cadre of obese dragons and midget wizards. Yes, this is a scenario you’re likely to encounter playing Dungeonland. Yes, it’s about as fun as it sounds.

Unfortunately, the base game can get a little bland with excessive play, and with so much content (and equipment) locked behind paywalls, there are times that it actually feels more like a demo than a full experience. That said, it’s definitely a fun diversion that’ll keep you occupied for at least a few hours if you’ve a few friends to play it with. That’s rather worth the price, no?
