World of Tanks is a 3D, team-based MMO shooter where players take control of mid-20th century era fighting tanks.  Gameplay in World of Tanks requires a lot of teamwork and strategy.  There are over a hundred completely unique tanks to choose from and up to sixty players per battle.  World of Tanks offers tactical gameplay and conflicts of epic proportions.

In World of Tanks, you are put in command of your very own World War 2 era battle tank.  WoT is a team-based game where two sides of up to thirty players each compete to destroy all opposing vehicles.  The many combat vehicles in the game are modeled after American, German, Soviet and British designs.  The game offers an in-depth gaming experience that is sure to get your blood pumping.

The tank-based shooter is developed by Wargaming.net, a Russian studio behind several other historically themed video games.  World of Tanks is their first free-to-play title, and they?ve come in swinging strong.  World of Tanks boasts great graphics, ease of play, and plenty of customization features.  The publishers promise a historically accurate setting and action-oriented gameplay.  RPG elements also make an appearance, as players will be able to upgrade their tanks with new parts and crew members.  New recruits start with a light German or Soviet tank, but after accumulating experience and credits, they will be able to upgrade to heavier models.  Additionally, it will be possible to upgrade individual parts such as turrets, chassis, engines, guns, radios, and ammunition types.

World of Tanks was first commissioned in 2009 and put into service in the second half of 2010.  It is built upon a freemium business model where participants only have to pay for optional features. The focus is on player vs. player gameplay with each player controlling a tank or armored vehicle.

Then came OG-Day… Everything changed that fateful day. As the radio transmission of the conference started, silence fell across the lands and battlefields alike. But something wasn?t right. There was only static noise coming from the radio, followed by otherworldly wails and screams. Then a hoarse whisper, a warning: “Gamma is coming”  When the first airplanes arrived at Geneva, they found a burning city.  In 1941, the world was left devoid of its leaders.”

Axis Forces
Ever marching onwards, Commanders of the Axis forced their way into the world. Devoid of new orders, they pushed further and further into enemy territory, using the chaos to conquer as many cities as they could. Drawn forward by their success, they had neglected to defend their own homeland. When the first Commanders came to their senses, they found themselves encircled by enemies and even their homeland partly occupied. Now they are establishing footholds to maybe one day retake what once was theirs.

Whether it be the horned people of the plains, the elves of the forest, the dwarves of the northern mountains, or even the wily goblins who never interfere with disputes, the people of Kunalasi are all having a hard time dealing with Arcane Council.”

Stardrift Empires combines elements from both the RTS and RPG genres, with a mix of resource and construction management blended in with experience gain and character progression. As the game is a browser-based MMORPG there?s no time consuming download or hefty client to worry about, you can create an account or log in with Facebook and get into the action within seconds.

The game entices you with a unique art style and images within the game.  It takes more of a text and image based approach as your character, military units and buildings are represented by high-quality, fascinating images and pictures.  As you would expect in an MMORTS game, the focus of Stardrift Empires is to accumulate resources so that you can construct various buildings and to train a large variety of military troops and units.  There are four resources in the game: Ore, Crystal, Hydrogen and Energy.  Each resources requires a particular building in order to accumulate.  Your goal is to make choices based on what resources you need the most.  Upgrading your buildings and managing your resources is the key to success in this game.

One of the cool features of  Stardrift Empires is the mission system. Various missions are accessible by clicking on the missions tab and cycling through the missions and requirements to unlock future ones.  Each Mission also tells you what ship you?ll need in order to complete it, the time it will take and the reward you?ll receive if you complete it. The missions are entirely automated, meaning you select the mission and then it?s down to your ship and units to whether or not it?s successful.

There are a number of other exciting features in Stardrift Empires such as the ability to expand your empire and create new colonies. When you want to work on another planet you will start a new colony.  Colonies work in a similar way to your home planet, it is essentially a new area where you can construct various resource gathering buildings, train troops and access new missions. The more colonies you have access too, the more resources you can gather and the more presence you have in the galaxy.

Clash of the Dragons is a free to play browser-based trading card game.  The game borrows elements from a traditional RPG and adds a new spin as a fantasy TGC.

Upon entering the game, you will be prompted to create your avatar; then you are able to freely travel across the map and spend a certain amount of energy to fight against different monsters. Winning a battle grants you various loot, experience and other rewards.

Upon entering into a battle for the first time, you will need to familiarize yourself with combat interface and dialogue boxes with different options. In Clash of the Dragons, instead of having the popularized hit points system, it is actually the amount of cards you hold in your deck determines your health.  When damage is dealt by another player or NPC, you have to discard as many cards as the damage being taken from the top of your deck. The battle ends when you are unable to draw any additiolnal cards.  There are two number displayed on each card, one determines the amount of damage the card will deal, while the other is the defense point, which will be subtracted from the amount of damage done by your opponent.

The game is relatively easy to pick up and play compared with other trading card games.  There are four class available and each one has their own primarily attribute, which determines what kind of attack will be optimal.

Battles become slightly more complicated and unpredictable at higher levels and with the introduction of buff and healing cards. Buffs can give you some sorts of status enhancement such as granting chance of inflicting critical attack, or splitting half of the damage taken. And the healing cards enable you to revive cars that have been discarded. The number of cards you can pull out from your depletion pile equals to the power of the healing card.

As a typical trading card game, Clash of the Dragons allows players to customize the deck; keeping too many melee and ranged attack cards in deck is meaningless when you play as a spellcaster. You can either purchase card packs coming with assortment of 5 random cards with coins or premium currency, or craft a specific one by using cards that appear to be useless in your deck, however, it seems that acquiring enough cards and crafting ingredients take a long time.

Besides the deck customization, there are a lot of things to do while you are outside battles. Skill points can be spent in a wide range of optional abilities to benefit players ? from increasing the maximum deck size to increasing the number of NPC?s which can be placed in one deck. Moreover, once you have accumulated enough points, you can unlock your second class, which giving you the possibility to toggle between those classes when you face-off against enemies of different powers.

Clash of the Dragons is a different and unique take on the classic trading card game.  If you are willing to try out a TGC, give this one a try.  Traditional RPG players will find elements they adore with a completely new spin.

Dream World is an unique and exciting browser based fantasy MMORPG.  While the game is turn-based, it offers  an intriguing and unique multiplayer experience for all gamers.

Your character is the main hero of the story. While you start the game in a small village by the lake, your quest will eventually take you to many other towns and cities and explore many different dungeons and wilderness areas. The Dream World consists several villages, towns, cities, and their surrounding areas. Each area provides it’s own sets of offerings for adventurers.

There are three types of weapon skills in Dream World. Characters learn these skills through training. You might unlock skills if your meet the intelligence attribute requirement. You can also unlock new professions as well by raising weapon skills.

Quests are an important part of the game. You must complete main quests in order to move to new areas and beat the game. There are optional side-quests that will offer good rewards if you choose to take them. And there are chance quests found in dungeons that will help you progress through the levels. Click on the “quest” menu to see your quest progress at any time.

There over a dozen badges you can earn in the game. A list is available in the “badge” tab of the “quest” menu. They are symbols of your accomplishment. Each badge you unlock will grant you additional max energy you can store.

After you completed the game’s main quests, there are many playable areas (game expansions) waiting for you to challenge.

Need for Speed World is the first massively multiplayer Need For Speed game. Developed by EA?s Black Box and Singapore studios, NFSW has a huge persistent game world to explore. Despite having the free to play tag, this game has the same incredibly high production value players have come to expect of the franchise. Not only is this  an easy game to pick up and play, but it offers the most licensed cars, parts, and game modes than any previous Need for Speed game.

Character creation in Need for Speed World is remarkably simple. Players just need to choose a name, and an avatar, in addition to their preferred starting car. The cars come in three tiers, while new players are only allowed to choose from a select few tier 1 vehicles. However you  may browse through higher level tiers to get a taste of what to look forward too. The cars that are available to all players include the Mozda Speed 3, Mitsubishi Eclipse GT, Nissan 240SX (S13), Nissan Silva (S15), and Toyota Corolla GT-S (AE86). Each car consists of four color options in addition to a different distribution of three stats: Top Speed, Acceleration, and Handling. New drivers can use limited starting money for further customization of the color of they prefer for their vehicle.

With 146 different technologies to research it is a long spanning game that cannot be either won or lost.

There is a strong focus on allied gameplay and it promoted teamplay whether you decide to join one of the many empires out there or create your own.

Eredan takes on a medieval fantasy theme.  Players are to become heroes in a world where it?s hard to distinguish the difference between friend and foe. Using a simulation similar to the mechanics of a physical card game, players create their own deck of characters and spells to play against others in a duel to the death. Although comparable to other TCG’s like Carte, this game features Facebook integration which allows users to connect with their Facebook friends or make new ones through the game. There is a wide selection of cards to collect and trade. Hundreds of different spell and weapon combinations make for thousands of unique playing styles and strategies.  Many cards are unique to certain classes and many characters providing bonus stats to different cards. Each signature hero card displays the character?s race, class, and guild. The game also features six multi-classes combining the Priest, Mage, Warrior, and Marauder class that are available as players advance.
