Runescape to begin using microtransactions

Runescape, the free-to-play in-browser MMO by Jagex, has started down a road that could possibly hinder the game. Runescape’s oh-so-popular squeal of fortune has had everyone excited each day for new spins. The wheel gives you a free spin each day, with a chance to win some very valuable items if you’re lucky. Jagex has now announced that you can buy ?spin packages? with your cold hard cash.

Living After War closed beta – a brief look

Living After War (or L.A.W.) is a game currently undergoing closed Beta by www.Alaplaya.net. I managed to snag a beta key and spent less than two hours downloading the 3.6 GB of the game offered. Immediately I noticed upon entering the nifty little slideshow/opening cinematic they chose to display upon choosing a faction, which is simply a difference between cryogenically frozen humans or humans who have undergone evolution and surgery to enhance their bodies for survival on the rather havocked Earth.

Titan, new MMO by Blizzard, may be be further along than fans thought

Last night, Rob Pardo, Executive Vice President of Game Design at Blizzard, made an interesting tweet that sparked interest among fans. The game, Titan, was mentioned in Pardo?s tweet and has informed fans that the new MMO is now playable in house and is ?pretty rough still?. It might still be years away from a release, but fans know that Blizzard will pull through, as they always have done.
